David English

Founder

The only thing I sell is trust. It’s what foreign investors most need –
people they can work with in Argentina who are trustworthy.

 – David English

David is a recognized authority on doing business in the Mendoza region, as featured in the Financial Times, Fortune, Transitions Abroad, Wine Enthusiast, and The Wall Street Journal. He advises investors on how the E&A team can best help them achieve their goals in Argentina, and then defines deliverables and prepares service proposals.

Because local companies must have at least one director who is an Argentine resident, David assumes this role when English & Associates sets up and manages companies for non-resident investors. He also acts as their official “Responsible Substitute” for tax filings and exercises Power of Attorney on their behalf in legal matters.

David holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Austral University in Buenos Aires. He is the author of Expat Entrepreneurs in Argentina and the producer of the short film My Father’s Lessons, which documents his return to Ground Zero for the first time since 9/11. David has resided in Mendoza continuously since 2002, where his son Benjamin was born in 2010.
